Our President and Government Minister held a working meeting with the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia, Ms. Vesna Janevska, ahead of the beginning of the new academic year.
The meeting focused on the current situation of schools and classes providing education in the Turkish language. Student enrollment, the continuity of Turkish-language classes, existing challenges, and priorities for the upcoming school year were discussed in detail.
As the Turkish Democratic Party, we once again reaffirmed our commitment to protecting and strengthening education in the Turkish language as one of the fundamental rights of the Turkish community in the Republic of North Macedonia.
The Party will continue to work in close cooperation with the relevant institutions to safeguard existing Turkish-language classes and further strengthen Turkish-language education for future generations.
Where there is Turkish-language education, there is a future. Protecting our mother tongue means protecting our future.
